The Dutch House of Representatives voted to adopt the ACM Call-In Power Act (Wet inroepbevoegdheid ACM, in Dutch) (CPA) on 22 September 2026. This will amend the Dutch Competition Act, granting the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) the power to call in transactions that fall below the statutory filing thresholds of the Dutch merger control regime. The amendment will also raise the local turnover filing threshold of the Dutch merger control rules. The CPA now proceeds to the Senate for a vote on its adoption.
