INVITATION ONLY I Private Transatlantic Business Luncheon with the EU Ambassador to the United States and European Country Ambassadors
For the first time ever, a very large group of European Ambassadors (18 confirmed so far) will jointly visit Florida during four days under the leadership of H.E. Jovita Neliupšienė, EU Ambassador to the United States.
EACC Florida, in partnership with the World Trade Center Miami, the Miami Dade Beacon Council, and Greenberg Traurig is honored to host, a private invitation-only luncheon connecting these high-level diplomats with key Florida business and trade leaders.
During the Luncheon, invited guests will engage in high-level discussion on trade and transatlantic business, hear brief remarks from the EU Ambassador, participate in a moderated Q&A session with the EU’s top country diplomats to the US, network and connect with our guests, business leaders, local Members, C-Suite executives, and bi-national chamber representatives.
Represented EU Member States at ambassadorial or deputy chief of mission levels will include Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France (tbc), Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovak Republic and Spain.

Jovita Neliupšienė is the Ambassador of the European Union to the United States, as of January 1, 2024.
She was Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania from September 2022 until December 2023. From 2020 to 2022, she was Vice Minister of Economy and Innovation of Lithuania. In 2020, she held the post of Chancellor and State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania. Between 2015 and 2020, she served as Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Lithuania to the EU. From 2009 to 2015, she worked as an advisor and chief foreign policy advisor to the President of the Republic of Lithuania Ms. Dalia Grybauskaite.
Between 2003 and 2009, she served as a career diplomat in various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania. From 2005 to 2008, she was posted in Belarus. From 2006 to 2012, she was a lecturer at the Institute of International Affairs and Political Science at Vilnius University. From 2000 to 2003, she worked as a political assistant to a member of the Parliament of Lithuania (Seimas).
Ms. Neliupšienė was born in Panevezys, Lithuania. She received her Bachelor degree in political science at Vilnius University (2002, Cum Laude) and Bachelor in law at M. Riomeris Law University (2004). She has a Masters degree in International Relations (2004, Cum Laude) from Vilnius University and PhD in Social Science (2009). In 2008, she spent a semester at Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska. She is a widow and has a son.
This event is organized in partnership with the World Trade Center Miami and the Miami Dade Beacon Council, in cooperation with the EU Delegation in Washington DC, and kindly hosted by Greenberg Traurig.
