Pierre Moscovici, former EU Commissioner for Economic & Financial Affairs, Taxation & Customs, has been the First President of the French supreme body for auditing the use of public spending since 2020. This institution is independent from the Government and Parliament. It is in charge of auditing public accounts, as well as contributing to the evaluation of public policies.
Mr. Moscovici previous positions included:
