Arjan is an International Tax Director in Deloitte Netherland’s US Focus Team. He has over 13 years of experience in various international tax aspects of cross- border business for US based multinationals.
Arjan spent 5 years living and working in New York for another Big 4 firm before joining Deloitte and therefore has a deep understanding what drives US multinationals. His knowledge is broader than the relevant Dutch tax aspects relating to cross-border business but also includes pan European aspects including EU ATAD/BEPS inspired tax measures as well as a deeper understanding of the interaction of these with US Tax Law post US Tax Reform.
Arjan his main area of expertise is with US companies having their European Hub in the Netherlands and obtaining Advance Tax Rulings and Advance Pricing Agreements and managing their European tax strategy. Within the US Focus Team he is responsible for the US West Coast and is there regularly.
